Where transmission becomes difficult, Nomics offers innovative solutions to transmit data, e.g. through liquids and metal.

The NS-52 module is a semi-active identification system designed for applications where conducting materials or liquids are in close proximity to the tag. It is derived from Nomics' patented, low frequency magnetic measurement technology, offering a good immunity to metallic environment. By applying modulation to the magnetic pulses used for measurement, the tag is able to transmit the registered data up to a distance of 40 cm.

The standard device is loaded with a 20-bit code. Nomics can customize this data with up to 64 bits.

The NS-52 has been designed according to military standards for operation in harsh environments. A Lithium/Thionyl Chloride battery ensures a long lifetime and a large operating temperature range.
