In radiotherapy, targeting a lung or a breast tumor with high precision while it is constantly moving due to respiration is not an easy task. However, it is essential in some cases in order to avoid irradiating a vital organ such as the heart.

The RESPISENS is an innovative device for patient motion tracking during radiotherapy. The system consists of a miniaturized transmitter/receiver that measures a distance on the patient body.
